Hello! It's been a while since I have used this website, but I have a couple of announcements regarding:
my absent schedule for April
future lesson schedules
the closure of Skype and how it will impact our lesson chat history
April schedule:
From the evening of April 10th until April 29th, I shall be taking time off from Eigox, both for travel and to pursue other ventures.
This is only temporary and I do intend continue teaching for the foreseeable future upon my return.
Future lesson schedule:
As some regular students may have noticed major changes to my work schedule the past few months.
Since I have undergone some changes in my personal life, I am no longer able to commit to the previous schedule and will be experimenting with a new schedule structure upon my return on the 29th April.

Changes include:
Assigning weekday, early morning lesson slots to Tuesday and Thursday only.
Removing Monday and Wednesday afternoon and evening slots, but extending the morning session by 2 slots.
Extending the start of Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon sessions to start from 17:00 (previously starting from 18:00)
Skype closure:
With the closure of Skype in May, comes the end of many historical lesson chats and the ability to co-ordinate students directly.
As of writing, a suitable replacement platform has yet to be chosen by the Eigox team, though we are still able to continue lessons via the LessonRooms on the Eigox website, which are just as reliable.
Although the chat logs will not carry over to the LessonRooms, please be assured that the lesson notes will contain all notes taken.
I do highly recommend keeping your own records as well for ease of access.
As for the ability to contact me regarding any lesson schedule queries or requests, you can contact me through Eigox or via this website's chat function in emergencies, which I shall keep open.
Final words:
2025 marks the 5th year that I have been teaching on Eigox and I have enjoyed every moment of it!
Thank you for all my students who have made this job fulfilling
It has been a pleasure to see you progress on your English journey and I hope to continue seeing you reach your goals!
As for what the future holds on my time as an English teacher, I have plans and ambitions that I want to enact upon that could enrich your learning experience; but I shall have to reveal them in due time.
Keep on learning and I hope to see you in a lesson soon!
Your teacher and friend,
Serge Villa
