He killed that there didn’t he?
No one’s calling their kid Adolf nowadays
No little Adolf’s going to school..
Loads of Brads and Angelina’s but no…
You don’t hear the teacher doing the register:
“Brad”
“Here”
“Angelina”
“Here”
“Adolf”
“Herr”
[Herr = 'Sir' in German]
I do that quick so no one can take a picture of me doing ‘that’
[German salut]
No, but…
People make excuses for him saying:
“Oh, he was stupid”
“He was easily lead”
“He didn’t mean that”
What do you mean he didn’t mean that?!
They say:
“Oh no, he was influenced by the political philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.”
Right?
Because Nietzsche wrote this book talking about a superman.
He said that “Not all men are born equal”
And Hitler misinterpreted this and went way too far with it.
[refering to the 1883 book "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" which included the "Übermensch" ( a goal for humanity to set for itself)]
And think of that.
You are a great scholar, you’ve done all this work and you get a call from the Fuhrer.
And the Fuhrer goes:
H: “All right Nietzsche?”
N: “Yeah good. What do you want?”
H: “Just read your book.”
N: “What do you think?”
H: “Love it! Love all that! Man and superman…Not everyone is equal..Kill all the Jews.”
N: “Sorry?”
H: “Not everyone is equal, so kill all the Jews…”
N: “I didn’t write that..”
H: “I read between the lines” [taps nose]
[taps nose = signalling that the person tapping "knows" something]
N: “I..I..I didn’t mean that.. That’s terrible.. Have you..? You haven’t.. You haven’t been killing Jewish people have you?”
H: “What?”
N: “Have you been killing Jewish people?”
H: “...yeh..yep… a few…”
N: “How many?”
H: *coughs* “six million…”
N: “SIX MILLION?!”
H: “That’s all I won’t do anymore! Leave it… leave it at six…”
N: “That's terrible”
H: “I won’t do anymore…. Stay for dinner?”
N: “Well I will, but be careful in future!”
H: “I will. Are you writing any other books?”
N: “Well I am, but I am scared to tell you about it”
H: “I won’t do anything. What’s your new book called?”
N: “My new book is called: “The Gypsies: Do we need them?””
[Refering to the often overlooked fact that Gypsies were another minority, aside from Jewish people, who were killed in mass numbers during WWII]
